I like it.

He must be one of the few designers that have absolute freedom to explore a single theme in the way he wants it. So no parkas, plaid, workwear, or Trickers collabs this year, just Junya's take on black tie in 40+ silhouettes. I wish more designers could afford to work like this.

Besides, I can't remember seeing him do a Tuxedo, so I'll definitely try check these once they drop in stores. So no complaints here!

I like it. yeah, it's odd to hang your hat just on such a narrow theme, but whatever, there are some really cool jackets. this one looks really nice.

maybe "creative black tie" is a huge potential sales area.

I feel like Will i am will be all over this ****

I like the down coat though (and I'm guessing some of it will be more interesting in person yada yada)

Also putting leather sleeves on a random ass jacket is getting really old

haha. totally agree with all of this, including the will i am bit.

i'm just not interested in this beyond thinking i'd happily have worn one of these tuxes at my wedding. but other than that, just has nothing to do with my everyday life.

It's remarkably hard to make something new and have it appear similar and coherent - maybe identical- to something else, but be totally different in detail. Collection is great.
