what do you guys think about the quality of JC these days?
purchased a t-shirt recently and washed it following exactly as it instructed on the care label.
and yet the color faded like crazy...
despite the fact that they produce cheaper and lower quality products compare to the old collections, the price seems to be rising and rising every new season.
I like the style of JC but the price and the quality make me little upset about purchasing any JC items.
Is there any better brands out there that I can enjoy wearing instead of harsh JC?

2007 Juicy is soooooooooo much better than 2009 Juicy. It's not even worth comparing. 2007 was when JC were a real Cotoure brand, as the name implies. I couldn't even call 2009 Juice Couture cotoure. I would call it Juice Buituqe LOLZ.

I will never sell my 07 purple velour flare bottom sweatsuit. never.

Everything about Juicy Couture Mens, aka "Dirty English" is horrible. Wash n' wear quality is the least of its problems.

However, I have to say that this line is a huge missed opportunity. A few years back, my fiancee got her first job in the Juicy PR department. I used to see the mens stuff that they had. They actually had great production. Quite a few pieces were made in the USA, the cuts were slim, and the materials - especially the leather - were great. I bought a plain black washed leather hoodie (on a huge employee discount, mind you) which was slim as hell, had no outside branding, and could have easily been mistaken for a slightly less creative Rick Owens piece. I **** you not. Some of their wool jackets had solid cuts and construction. I saw an M65-ish wool one that fit and felt better than the one that Nom De Guerre showed that year.

But every time that a piece showed promise, they screwed it up with a screenprint of a gun, an embroidery that said "Rude Boy," fake distressing and holes, or some other ****. I feel that the line had a great technical designer and an absolutely horrible creative director - whoever that was. Nowadays, there's nothing left. From what I know, they're folding it next season.

so would you guys say the clothing from Nice Collective better than JC? Since no funny logos and words on their stuff, I think NC is slightly better than the JC stuff. Got myself a NC suit but the quality is just about the average or little less. and yet the retail price was about 600~700 range which seems to be little higher for what I got. have anybody expirienced other clothings than the suit? any tips or suggestions? looking for something that has good quality at least as much as R&B but little bit more relaxed casual styled stuff.

Thats soo true. I do freelance visuals for the company and I've spotted one store manager wearing really great cut suits that i swore would have been neil barrett or something and he would always dress it up as if it were and come to find out it was JC but it was just several years old. The mens line has kinda taken a wrong turn but it's no secret that the mens line will be fading out completely in the next few months.

It's shocking that they failed and reverted to selling guido wear. really. Whoever was involved in making a line attached to Juicy that WASN'T simply ghetto trash clothing DESERVES to fail even if the line was brilliant. No self respecting male would wear the 'male' line from what is essentially "Victoria Secret Pink for even bigger marsupials and whores"

I'm sad to see Dirty English (nÃ

e Juicy Couture Mens) go. Sure, some of it was rendered unwearable by too much fake distressing or a big "Rude boy" on the side, but most it wasn't. Most of the line was high-quality casual and sportswear with a unique point of view. Their men's fragrance is my latest favorite scent. The upside is that since the brand is being retired, most of the latest and past few seasons can be found for dirt cheap on sale at Saks and Ebay. Farewell, Dirty English. We hardly knew ye.

Maybe they didn't have enough outlandish branding/styling. Maybe they couldn't keep up with the creative forces of afliction, ed hardyzzz and the like. Maybe that's why it's gone... Their un-stupid stuff looks pretty decent acutally.

Bought a velvet Juicy Couture blazer on eBay that I absolutely love. It's chocolate with tan pinstriping. Looks really nice with a black undershirt and jeans. I wish the brand had taken off more than it did (though they really were hit or miss). For anyone wondering, the fit is tight. JC runs small almost to the point people think their clothing is mislabeled.
