basically he is ridiculing his whole life , his purpose, character, everything in his life.

i can understand if he became remorseful for taking on a frivilous lawsuit in the beginning, learning that he was plain foolish and asked for forgiveness from all the parties. that is human and is a step to progress and to spirit.

but to take on an appeal... he basically is inane and needs to just lose his life.

I agree that he appears to be an idiot and has become a lawyer's joke, but wishing that he lose his life is harsh.

I can almost understand why he'd do it. He's already an object of ridicule and likely to lose his job, so he no longer has anything to lose. If anything, I see him laying the groundwork for being featured in some stupid reality tv show.

They need to stop this immediately. Our country is already getting so sue-happy that if this sort of ridiculous behavior is in ANY way tolerated further, who knows how bad it will get. There have been lots of absurd lawsuits in the past decade, some of which account for why insurance costs so much and why so many people are hesitant to do ANYTHING for anybody else, but this has to be the most absurd I've heard. I'm probably the most anti-death penalty person I've ever met... and strangely in this case I feel it almost might be warranted. [IMG]

Oops... sorry for making your joke out of context. [IMG] As a writing teacher, I think it is just in my nature to go back and correct/edit things if they don't sound right after a few minutes. Was it my joke about suing Ed Morel for $245,000,000 if I wasn't satisfied with a pair of his Santoni's because he's a "quality seller?" Anyway, I edited it just because I felt that this issue was serious enough not to make a corny joke about suing...

    It really is stupid.

Maybe the 1800flowers.com guy and the Judge can form a little support group?

This judge has really nothing to worry about except a pair of trousers?

    Where is he working? Disneyland?

Well, the good news is that the koreans raised enough money with the solidarity campaign to cover the $85,000 legal costs...

Indeed the only ones taking profit about all this thing are the lawyers.
