I noticed some Joseph Abboud oxfords for sale online. Does anyone know about the quality of Joseph Abboud shoes? Thanks.

Just avoid them entirely, any buy of them will be a waste. Save a bit more and then get some Allen Edmonds on sale.

There were some oxfords in Daffy's' with fabric uppers last week. They were well styled. Price was about $60.

An honest assessment from my recent experience with Joseph Abboud shoes. I basically got a pair for free after a gift card purchase. They normally retailed for like $80-$100. The pair I got are a black "cap-toe" except the cap-toe isn't quite right. Overall the leather quality is crap, but it's rubber sole so it is nice for rainy days. I have worn them once or twice a week for the past 4 months and the lining is already going on the inside of the shoe. They don't really shine up well either. I walk about a 1/3rd of a mile to work each day I wear them.

My honest opinion is they are crap - don't buy them. There is also virtually no support so you really begin to feel them the first couple of times outs. There are only two redeeming qualities: being rubber soled, you can where them when it rains (I try not to expose my leather soled shoes to such an environment) and - interestingly- they making a nice tapping nose from the plastic crap they used to build the heel. My estimate is they will last another 5-6 months before I get rid of them (again that's from 1-2 wears a week).
