You really worried me there for a minute. Reading the subject line, one might think that Varvatos had stooped to selling his line through everyone's (but especially The Foxx's) favorite purveyor of cheap suits and pure evil.

As designer footwear goes, it's the best IMO. Very wearable (and very masculine) styles and pretty good quality.

And no one wanted to buy my shoes at $100

The shame... BTW, FB in Boston should be getting huge shipments from Richards, Mr. Sid, Barneys and Louis soon. If there is anything you guys want, email me, and I'll keep an eye out. I'll sell it to you for cost (plus shipping), plus the price of lunch and a couple of T tickets.

I went this morning.

The best deal they had were overcoats (including lots of tweed in various colors) for $499, original price $1550. Pants were $129, the nicer boots were $229, scarves were $49 (from $125), suits were $499, regular shoes varied from $99-$199, sweaters were $129 and up, they also had dress shirts and all messenger bags were $229. Sizes were plentiful (but I arrived at 8:30 and it was fairly crowded by then) but as always the popular sizes will go fast. Some of the shearlings (short) were $799 and longer ones were $1200.

Overall, if you are a Varvatos fan, I'd check it out...travel lightly as you must check your bag and coat (typical sample sale protocol).
