I did click it. I just can't the guy seriously. He went to my HS, and after he got famous he tried to sleep with my ex-gf after a show (and failed).

Yeah I noticed that article too when someone had posted the link to that e-magazine a few days ago. I'll admit that I used to like his music and he was an okay (not great) guitar player but boy did he ever turn out to be such a douche bag. I guess according to Stewie he was the one who ruined the guitar.

John has a bunch of really nice custom Rolexes. He is mostly into Rolex as a wear watch. And yes he is incredible pondering tool and a Appreciation addict.

Hey kwilkinson, Actually I did play quite a bit of his material when I was in university; I would even transpose a lot of his live material too. But if you really analyze his musical chops (ability) there's nothing special about it. He clearly understands the blues language but it isn't ground breaking at all. Unfortunately I get the impression that he thinks of himself as some kind of guitar God or something. Do you play by any chance?

I don't understand why people hate John Mayer with such passion... He'd seem like he'd fit in SF nicely; pretty funny guy, interesting blog, decent hobbies (photography, gadgets, watches), plays a decent guitar.

Yep, been playing for about 8 years, since I was 14. I'm not very good, it's always been a casual and fun relationship for me. You play?
I do get the feeling that he thinks he's better than he is as well. He's not great by any means, but he understands the blues, which is something a lot of people just don't get.
