For sale is a pair of JOHN LOBB Vintage model 2004 in chestnut, 8000 last, size 10E UK/ 11E US. Excellent condition. Comes with lasted shoe trees and dustbags, no box.

If ever anyone needed an example of how bad the economy is these shoes are it. Are you kidding me? With the lasted trees and dust bags and no one in a size 11 has bought these? I am amazed!

They are beautiful shoes for sure

One aspect drew my attention- nothing wrong with the shoes - is that even shoes of this pedigree will develop off color creases after little use when that are light tannish in colour and have a 'flat' vamp, (I mean no captoe line, brogueing etc) that may preempt the creasing.

I see these creases all the time in these kinds of shoes but of lower quality- from this example it would seem that it cant be avoided. That is something that would stop me putting too much money on such a shoe style while new. Again this issue is mute regarding the used ones here

Yes, i wonder about the creases too, I sold a pair of JL Vintage 2003 a couple of days ago that has barely visible creases, I wonder if museum calf makes the difference, the museum calf leather seems better in quality. Here are the photos:
