John Lobb Shoes

Hello im thinking to buy this pair of John Lobb shoes.
Anyone could give accurate information about them please? About the year,if they are vintage or modern times,the name of model,etc.
I think they are oxford, dont know if i am correct.
Im able to give some good money for them because i know they are quite expensive.
But how much they worth really. what will be the reasonable price to pay for them?
If anyone enough expert on the business could help me with some information, i would be grateful.

These derby shoes look very good, though not sure why the sole is all dark brown. JL has mainly two lines, classic and prestige, they appear to be from the classic range

How much are you getting them for. If you buy them also get wooden shoe trees to put inside, it will resist creasing and prolong the life of your shoes

Prices vary greatly, on JL website going for 1265 to on ebay going for 600

Some other sources are mr porter, leathersoulhawaii, upper shoes. Shops sometimes run sales and offer discounts too

This is a classic style and a good quality and good looking shoe, you can invest in it. But please do not buy them unless you try them in person, sizing really differs from maker to maker, and shoe to shoe

They're great shoes and the leather is very resistant..

Especially not from:-

1- sausages244 - this guy thinks the "R" in the JL shoes he overcharges for stands for "RARE" - a lot of people have complained - he describes everything as "rare"

2- Ascot shoes - Karl is a nice guy, but he also sells rejects at extortionist prices, be very careful, once you have worn the shoe and discover the thing is a dud you're it, screwed, he will not take shoes back and his prices are not cheap.

You are better off waiting for a special sale or something, keep an eye on SF B/S forums, it is never a very long wait to find something suitable at reasonable prices.

They're seconds with minors defects but they sell them at an over-inflated price...

Put a few hundreds dollars more and buy the perfect ones..

HI THE SELLER CONTACT ME AND GIVE ME MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOES THAT I PRETEND TO BUY. IT SEEMS A HONEST SELLER AND I APPRECIATTED THAT. SO,THE LEFT SHOE HAS A VERY LIGHT MARK ON THE FRONT (ABOUT AN INCH LONG) AS SHOWN ON THE PICTURES
THE SAME SHOE HAS THE LEATHER A LITTLE BENT OUT OF SHAPE THROUGH STORAGE BUT WILL BE FINE AFTER BEING WORN.
THE SHOES DO HAVE A FEW MINOR IMPERFECTIONS, BUT NOTHING MAJOR OR THAT AFFECT THE WEAR OF THE SHOES.
I WILL ATTACH SOME PICTURES THAT HE SENT ME.
THE SHOES ARE NEW AND NEVER BEEN WORN BEFORE.
COULD YOU OR ANYONE PLEASE ADVIVE ME ABOUT HOW MUCH I SHOULD PAY FOR THEM AS A FAIR PRICE IN £ POUNDS.
