I'm generally a 9D in US sizes.
Lobb's 8000 last in an 8E is the best fitting shoe/last I've ever worn.
I have the Kipling (on the 4596) in 8.5E and it is a tiny bit tight in the forefoot/instep, but otherwise a very good fit.
