On unlined JL unlined shoes (not loafers) where and how do they mark the size? directly on the leather on the tongue or heel? thanks in advance

One would think in the ordinary manner. I have not heard or read to the contrary.

I've never had an unlined lobb blucher, but on my unlined EG loafers, they mark the shoes with a small leather tag on the inside of the instep at the base of the tongue.

My unlined Buxtons are marked in the ordinary manner. However, they are nearly 18 y.o.. Perhaps things have progressed.
