I'm pretty sure my Riveria loafers on the prior page were made in Italy.

With respect to lasts, I can say that oxford vs monk in the same size+last works for me in 7000 and 8000 lasts. I've never tried a proper loafer from JLP so I'd argue some caution there as I have no experience and keep on having issues with other brands' loafer sizing.

Why are they cheaper than what JL classic would normally cost? Does JL make shoes of lesser quality, below the JL classic range (not sure what is called, I mean the non-prestige line).
