received my John Lobb Lopez white deer skin loafer unlined… absolutely lovely pair… the deer skin is so soft and this require no break in at all.. I also did not experience any heel slip but I have a concern on the heel.. there is abit of gap at my right foot being a shorter length.. I am worry over time as it expand the loafer may become not wearable.. I can barely insert my index finger to the heel and the pair feel snug on my foot without any pain.. this is my 3rd time getting the correct loafer fit.. from EG uk9 to 8.5 to jlp uk 7.5

Very nice loafers in deer leather in white!
I’ll a bit concerned if they will get stain/dirt more easily than black/brown leather.
It should be easier to get stained for sure.. just like any white shoes or sneaker.. but I got attracted to this outfit and decided to get one.. next up receiving will be a John Lobb Pier Blue Suede and would be sharing once I got my hand on it

Is it okay to remove the stitching that holds the tongue to the uppers? it is quite annoying when putting the shoe on and off.....

I think it would be fine. If you're worried about it, I'd take them to a good cobbler to have it done.

Sharing John Lobb Pier Suede in Aqua Navy Blue which I receive today..
This is made in Italy and not England.
I very much prefer the JLP Isle deck shoes instead but it is very expensive and limited place selling it. Anyone knows where can land my hand on one?

Bro I know you can afford the JL shoes but slow down on them haha... just my opinion but man you can find better looking deck shoes from Sperry, Quoddy, Eastland, etc. and all are even made in USA that just look better and more classic in styling. JL made in Italy, is like buying from Archibald London...

Love your Pier boat shoes, would not mind to buy a pair but I already have too much. Back in the old days, you could find JL shoes at great discounts. I grabbed these pair quite discounted. Leather is thick, creamy, soft and gourgeous.
