I received the JL St. Crepin 2021 William 75 in burgundy/bordeaux... I was surprised by the color, very rich and deeper than appears in the pictures on the JL website....

Nice! Have always wondered if black museum is as black (if that makes sense) as a regular black box calf. I mean, the black museum from Carmina, from the pics, looks a little more gray-ish don't know if they change the light for the pics though.

Dunno whether JL offers black museum option on philip ii. Also interestingly they list all prestige line as "black oxford calf" and classic line as "black calf." Is there any real differences between them?

Luffieldin museum vs Madison in misty. I can’t really tell a difference now since both shoes have been through multiple shines that might have covered up the mottling effect of the museum calf.
