Anyone purchased the 2020 Strands?Contemplating to get a black museum pair after just buying the black Lopez. Seems a bit much but the allure of the Strands is too much for me to resist
I posted a picture of my pair; a few other people did is well. So, you can see different colors. The pics are in this thread. If you search the gallery view, you'll see them, posted not long ago as I recall. Hahahaha...another shoe I have yet to wear outside of my home. Supposedly, the Stand's designer was vacationing at the Guggenheim when he came up with the idea for the shoe. After the leather's been clicked, it actually does look like the Guggenheim.

Hi friends. Long time no see. I haven't been wearing any dress shoes these days, since I no longer have any work. Things are looking pretty dim, so I started to get out some of my beloved pairs to clean up and sell. As I was sadly preparing my Warwicks, between the tears I stopped to appreciate how stunning they are. Sigh. I hope everyone here is safe and healthy.

Oh man. Sad to hear. Hopefully you get a new gig soon. Sadly those aren't my size, they do look gorgeous

Thanks. Any recommendations on where to buy JL in the US?
I am lucky enough to live near a JL store, but I have purchased online too, which ships from the US if you are in the U.S. if you are concerned about customs duties,

Yeah, things are horrible for lots of people and we are all on the edge of disaster. I do hope things get better real soon.

Saw the pictures and they look awesome. Just purchased a pair in the black museum calf; fingers crossed they arrive quickly so that I can wear them in time when my office re-opens :)

You won't regret it. They are a beautiful. I saw the black when I visited the shop. They may be the most stunning of all the colors.

Have a couple pairs of Lobbs prestige lines in Black Museum Calf and they look SOOO good after a few years of use. Very stately is the descriptor that comes to mind.

very nice but not as nice as the split seconds :)
Yikes! ? Is that an annual calendar? I am amazed by the amount of sophisticated complications that are in that watch.
I think the Calatrava is edging ever closer in my target sights...

I just tried it on in the PP boutique in Vietnam in 2018. It's an application piece and not sold to the regular folk - its like $250k or more...absolutely amazing

After picking up another Patek, was invited to try it out at local stockist... Though it finally has a proprietary movement, it is still too bulky and too expensive.

I never hear back when contacting JL on [email protected] - anyone else has this issue?

They're currently waiving by request fees so wanted to order a few pairs... if only they'd reply.
