I recently purchased the City II in dark brown museum calf, size 8EE. The fit and look were incredible. I'm now looking to order a few more 7000 last models in different colors and configurations in that size. I'd like to work with a European retailer to order the shoes since everything is much less expensive in Euros - has anyone here had a good experience ordering different shoes from the Core Collection through a European retailer? Anyone have the 2020 Core Collection pdf or link?
I am considering buying the same shoe. How is it compared to other brands you have in terms of fit, materials, and finishing?

Skoaktiebolaget has been my go-to for JLs. I believe they can share the updated core collection pdf if you ask; however this whole COVID-19 will probably slow some things down

Skoaktiebolaget are great, as in extremely helpful, and carry 2-3 models in EE, but as i noticed you are an EE, Borghini have a vast array of EE, however, they are not the most helpful retailer with regard to the personal experience (suggestion, catalogues etc). However, they do have regular reductions and are very open to returns.

Skoak offered 25% OFF on all items couple of days ago I believe. The business must have slowed down considerably due to the global situation.

Dear all,
I’ve been seeking for a pair of shoe trees for my latest purchased Penryn in UK5EE. I just found a pre owned pair from eBay below: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/303029253439

They are definitely not the current version of shoe trees we see in store. May I seek for advice from experienced JLlovers here whether this pair can be used for my Penryn in the 7000 Last?
Many thanks in advance!

Thank you very much for the tip. I did end up ordering a few pair from them in part because it was a small way to support Italy's economy right now. Their selection of EE is incredible, but sadly 90% don't have size 8. I guess my size is too common!

I also appreciate the Skoaktiebolaget tip. They had the black City II in 8EE so I ordered that. I also wrote them about ordering a few more but they replied they were too busy with the sale to help and would reach out to me when things calmed down, which is fair given what is going on right now.

Thank you everyone for being so helpful! I have been a long time lurker, but decided to make my first post after the 7000 last fit on the Lobbs was so perfect for me and I wanted to get more. I wish the U.S. boutiques had more competitive pricing with Europe given that the Euro and Dollar are about the same value now.

I believe it's just the older iteration of the JL shoe trees; you should be fine grabbing them

There are small discounts to be had on farfetch, few pairs of Lopez/William, attractive especially to U.S. buyers.

Well it's been sweats, slippers and sneakers for almost 3 weeks now. Wonder when we will get to wear "real" clothes again?.....

Wear double monks (Williams II) daily, not seen does not equate to not accountable.
Wearing sweats, thats unaffordable.
