I’m really happy with my recent pickups from the MrPorter sale. I’m all set for Spring / Summer now.

Went to the JL boutique to pick up some laces since I had one rip. I started chatting with the SA and she said there was a sale half off for a limited selection of shoes. I walked out with these plus the laces. I was going to get some Alden longwings in suede but went with JL loafers instead.

From their RTW offerings, I would consider Philip II as their iconic offering (in addition to the William double monks).

Agree that the Phillips II is to be considered their iconic RTW shoe.

Not too sure. The box doesn’t say but the receipt says suede SS terracotta.

I got my JLP bespoke shoes back from the workshop after I had them sent back in early December. Shoes fit more snug after space was removed from the width and top of the toe box. Also looks like the workshop darkened the leather and added a full lining (didn't ask for a full lining or darker shoes but I was indifferent to a full or half line shoe and the new color looks fine to me). Overall, I'm very happy with the final results. Great customer service from the Houston and NYC store for making sure I was happy with the final product.

I thought I’d share my collection of John Lobb’s. I truly loved (past tense) the brand as it represented the pinnacle of style, elegance and craftsmanship.

I basically stopped buying JL when Paula Gerbase came onboard. Politeness prevents me from offering an opinion as to her tenureship.

Anyways, I hope you like them, there’s quite a few unusual and ‘by request’ pairs.
