1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Not to everyones tastes but the new "Porth" sneakers from Lobb are pretty sweet IMO. Got a pair from the Mr. PORTER black Friday sale.

John Lobb is now available at Skoaktiebolaget.

What a lot of people don't realize is that there's an extensive Core Collection which incurs no surcharge (at the moment, may be subject to change). Many iconic JL styles are also available in different widths under this Core Collection system. I'm also pleasantly surprised that the JLP MTO surcharge is only 1500 SEK. GMTOs will be available from 4 pairs! :stirpot:

    Below, some inspiration:

Hi Leaves, are you going the update your site to include all the stock service styles? as phillip II black is stock service, but not the brown museum.

AFAIK we have included them all. Phillip II in Brown MC is no longer part of the stock service.

    Thanks!

I will have to replace my tan wingtips in less than a year so I am looking for alternatives. Definitely prefer a "faux" wingtip than a "real" one. G&G would be the another option but somehow I like these Lobbs more.

Yes these are quite nice. Not part of their seasonal/core collection but can be made as an MTO. Stowey is the regular wingtip which is part of their core collection.

I also like the "faux" wingtips better, which i feel gives the shoes a little more contemporary appeal. Another faux wingtip which I like is the EG inverness preferably on a round last (202,82).
I dont have any experience with G&G, but i can recommend the Klein, one of my favorite pairs of shoes

Agreed, Philip II in black is probably the Dress Shoe.
