More Lobb, more love
Saint Crépin 2014
Some flipper bought 10 pair of shoes in JL FS this weekend. They end up on ebay, it might be worth checking if your size is there ..
@arneben Lovely shoe, though I have no idea what I would teamed it with. Shape of an Oxford, look of an derby. Too casual for a suit, too serious for the trousers/jeans/polo/shirt ..
I don't think they ever sold well at NM. I remember several years ago the sold for $400 at the NM outlet store outside of Chicago.
Can I ask for the cream & wax on black misty calf? Neutral cream & black wax, or else?
I know the gold museum calf should apply Saphir Hermes Red cream however
You are applying the Red Cream on a Gold Museum !?
Anyway, use the black cream on black misty.
Hope some of you made a bid on the ebay reject lobbs I posted. I feel sorry for the seller. He is at massive loss with these shoes, not to mention the extra ebay 10% fee .. and he didn't have a reserve price.
Chambord II derby brown gone for 400 USD
New City II gone for 320 USD
New Lopez gone for 312 USD
Those are killer prices.
Very nice Doc! Love the colour
Luv the William, although I decided to go with the William II.
I just can't get into the Monkstraps. I almost brought some a couple of weeks ago but the buckles look so cheap.
I like the buckles! One of the previous Lobb St Crispins had a really awesome looking buckle.
If I didn't have a pair of EG Westminsters I'd get the William II!
The design of that year was amazing! Earlier this week: my JL rainy day shoes:
I just purchased a pair of Brentwoods in Parisian Brown Museum Calf, taking advantage of the winter sale. Hoping they fit well, as I haven't had the pleasure of visiting a store for a proper fitting. But... from the pictures the it sure looks top notch. Does anyone have any experience with this shoe and its fit? I believe its based on the 2711 last.
