1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'd like them better if they were bal boots.

I'd like them better if they were bicycle toes.

JL Saint Crepin 2009 and 2010 are still two of the best and most unique designs. 2012, not so much.

I'm pretty certain that my elderly grandmother owns a pair of the shearling lined boots.

The JLP factory shop has a special offer on St Crepins from several years (£550-£600 with trees). I was surprised that in many years the shoes are far from being good looking (to my taste at least). And there is nothing that compares to a Jermyn II/III or Chapel

The 2009 was the only JL SC that I thought was a knockout and is probably my favorite JL that I wear. As soon as I saw that one I put in an order. Most of the others in the past 5-7 years have been meh with the exception of the 2010.

Don't worry. It's a pair of beautiful boots. Just not as fashion forward as the pre 2008 JL St Crepins and not as inspiring as 2009/2010 St Crepin.

Well, hopefully you are 9EE. 9E or 9.5E are good as well. And may the discount be large enough.

Don't worry about forum opinions IMO. Most forumites falls into one of the three categories; cordovan fanatics, Donald Duck feet colored shoe lovers, or brand whores.

Would go for something in G&G instead of this (if I ever went with boots)
