the bottom line is, what we now know as cast 2 should have probably been named cast 3 or something else to avoid confusion.

the whole IG post to me is now very confusing. The majority of the jeans dropping are cast 2, but I think they are using the cast 1 designation to not confuse people (except the OG stans)

Agreed. The denim I purchased last F/W fit like the “cast 2” even though a change was made to the sizing chart (which I still can’t find a picture of what it was prior to the current). The recent drops now fit accurate to the current size chart. Thus puts us in a 2.5 era.

Ecxcited about this denim drop. I've only ever worn cast 2. I only bought tees and hoodies from JE for the longest time. So this new drop will have stretch?

Hey @srizvi722 , how did you size the double dye hoodie? Did you go your usual JE hoodie size or size up? I'm a medium in the oversized cropped/dual flash 2/beach hoodie, curious if I would stick to medium. Wasn't sure if the process made the garments come up a bit smaller.

It fits slightly bigger than the normal Raglan, but I went with the same size. I wouldn’t size up

Yes, this might be slightly confusing for OG JE followers like you. The cut is different, they are slightly looser, so we did not want to call these the Cast 2. I wouldn't get hung up on the naming - we will have measurements posted, they are in fact a different cut than Cast 2 and need to be designated so.

All six jeans have the same cut.

The AE is too long, especially if you're in the 5'8"-5'10" range. The most glaring hole in the entire brand is that they refuse to make a t-shirt in a modern cut that doesn't cover your entire crotch.
