Fall order arrived. The spruce are an instant classic, perfect color and something you don't already have in your wardrobe. The canyons are dope, I was worried they would look like dockers khakis but they don't, have have a good amount of dark nep in the denim that's more like sand at the beech then khaki. I do worry about the Canyons getting stained so they'll probably be formal denim for me, but I'm glad I picked some up. The olive classic crew is what you'd expect. For those who have never ordered a uni tee it's super oversized. I ordered one size down and it's still huge, the color is perfect for fall but I should have waited for the classic crew to drop. Fit pics coming soon.

I think some clarity is needed in your tee sizing. You ordered 1 down from your Classic sizing? Classic tees are slim/small in size to begin with, so 1 down from that sizing in an oversized tee would still make the oversized tee and oversized tee. For instance, I Wear a L in Classic, M in AE, and S/M in Uni. I go with M if I want the oversized look, and S if I want a relaxed/semi boxy look.

Thanks for the rundown @j023, that’s great for someone like me who is new to JE.

Also, in the short experience I’ve had the JE measurements seem to be pretty good. Like you said in the Uni, if you compare it with the other items such as classic and Anti-Expo, you can either stay TTS for the oversized look which is what he intended or go down 1 for a slimmer look.

Kinda dig the idea of corduroy sweats. Wonder if I could pull them off at work or if they are too obviously sweats.

Canyons came in today...however they’re a size too big -.- first pair of JE denim since Cloverdales and Iodines which I ordered in the same size and they fit no problem.

I do recall the size chart changing/updated within the last year or so but could of sworn reading on the forum the fit never changed.

^ Yeah, I received mine on Friday and I would recommend sizing down vs sizing up. I take a 33 & 34 in JE depending on wash, and the 33 fits well where the 34 is quite big. For anyone curious, they are similar to Obsidians, and stack well IMO

No, all of my JE denim is a 36. I’ve tried on the size 34 on two separate occasions (springs and carbons) and they fit like leggings on me.

The problem with the variance between the 34-36 sizes are a 1.9-2 inch difference where as the smaller sizes only vary half an inch to a full inch

I wear an M in classic crew, ordered a S in uni. Even with an extra small the measurements only really change an inch. I don't hate the tee, I just don't think my body type works with the fit.

the difference in Measurements doesnt look like much on paper, but it is when worn.

So that classic crew is Olive rather than Spruce? I'm debating between Spruce and Cadet for my next AE.

its Spruce... but the AEs are washed out, so the Spruce will not look like that - it will be more of a washed Olive.
