I was wondering the same thing? Is pre-spring 22 the old fit or new new fit?

The fit was adjusted in Fall / Winter 21. The purpose was to standardize the sizing across Kane, Daze, and Cast 2, so ideally you can take your same size in all three and achieve the intended fits.

Can you share what has changed? For example, comparing an older size with a new one, in terms of inches.

Yeah my homie is stuck with a pair of size 32 Sahara because he assumed they were the same fit as the older model. Now svrn won’t respond to him. I think there should have been some sort of transparency with the new fit. A few of my cast 2s are a size 36 because I want a looser fit on my calves. I can only imagine how the new 36 fits. I would be sick if I got stuck with a pair. I have some theories on what might have happened but I could be wrong. Either way, this change should have been communicated not discovered.

Experiences like this can completely turn new people off the brand. Sucks.

Here’s my thing, I don’t want to play Cast 2 Roulette. Now you don’t know if you are getting an older model or new updated model. Just have to take a chance smh.

I agree with this, the fit is completely different size wise. Before I could go 29 or 30 and be perfect. Now 30 is an absolutely hell no and I question even if 29 would work with this new sizing. The 30 fit like a size 33 and looked like a 33, completely different fit from everything else.

It looks like quite a few people aren't too happy about the new fit on the Cast 2. If it isn't broke then don't fix it. They already had daze for a relaxed fit with a taper.

i dont think we should assume this yet - JE is now a big ship that takes awhile to turn. By the way Mike explained it, they are trying to size their offerings more universally which would hopefully assess the majority of sizing issues over time

for example, if some find the cast 2 "baggy", they can size down and the calve won't be too tight anymore

alternatively, if you need to size up, the waist wont be so big creating butt sag and crotch folds

No matter how you look at it, we have two buckets in a well. When one is up, the other is down, but it sounds like they have optimized for the whole here. At least they are attempting to refine their staples
