Went back to Saks in SF and found the salt wash tees on a sale rack already lmao. Tried on a medium which is a size down since they didn't have a large. Still prefer the large size in tees for JE. Shirt itself felt really good. Probably copping one when I'm back home View attachment 1628950

Salt wash looks good. But it would get absolutely no wear next to Folsom and Replica tees, and the upcoming new versions of each.

Anyone got fits of the bozeman shorts?

Here’s an old pic I posted a while back comparing them to the ride shorts. Same size in both

I got 2 pairs of Bozemans from the sample sale... 1 pair that's one size down and 1 pair that's 2 sizes down so we'll see if they fit lol

Eclipse sale was way better than expected. Only just got a chance to look.

Very nearly picked up the Superbloom but it looks so different on each website.

Ended up grabbing the exposure tee in blue and lightning tie dye socks. Very happy as I really didn’t want to pay $228 for the exposure tee.

Which fit do you like better?

I prob prefer the Bozeman but need a belt. The ride shorts are good but the rise is fairly low and pockets are shallow for my liking but waist is great.

Waited too long to checkout that cheap XL classic crew in white. Can never have too many basics

Random Q: Why is the JE Eclipse sale called a "Sample Sale"?
Well a lot of these companies that ran these sample sales originally did “sample sales” where they sold items that were truly samples or items that had defects that you couldn’t sell as new. As time went on companies started hiring them to get rid of their excess stock. The name “sample sale” has continued (I believe) to not dilute the brand image. No one wants to admit to overstock or heavily discounted sales because it decreases the value of the brand. No one will want to pay retail for Dior or Prada or even John Elliott if they know they can catch it on huge discount. Now if you move the “overstock” items off the main site and discount them elsewhere and use terms like “samples” then maybe the general public won’t “catch on” and people will believe that the biggest discount JE gets is 25% and they are better off trying to buy the items a retail or small discounts because a lot of it “sells out”. Just remember a lot of people aren’t going to know about the eclipse sale.
