That comment about car value against the cost of clothes is a wild way to think, but to each his own I guess. Just to add to the convo, I love cars and currently drive a Porsche 718S, but I decided I'm getting rid of it this year. Cars are a total waste of money even more so than clothes, so yea, I'm now in the camp of as long as I can get where I'm trying to go then I'm good. Wife drives a Volvo XC90, and we'll be sharing that from now on. I'm done wit cars

Regardless of the car, it doesn’t make much sense. Especially when it’s such a negligible amount of cashmere - you’re getting regular, light weight LA sweats with a touch of non-cotton.

And to your dig, I pay cash, and I don’t drive a BMW.

Oh wait, you were serious lol...trying to apply your own logic to how someone else spends money is a never ending back and forth. You do know that someone else can say the same exact thing about how you choose to spend right? You're in a forum where guys buy $200 sweats. There's a ton of people that wouldn't "make sense" to regardless of what car you drive.

Your comment is strange ... I'm not a sweats expert, but there is more to factoring in cost than just % of cashmere. In the watch world, some precious metal watches are worth more than other materials even if their value is lower because working with that metal or material costs more (platinum vs gold or even tantalum). So maybe working with that type of blend costs more. I'm sure JE's guys are all over him with pricing decisions. I don't understand the negativity ... theres something for everyone. Saying with fact that these are just 'light weight LA sweats with a touch of non cotton' is actually just downright ignorant

I’m in TN so my house got raided for MJ bullshit, went to jail and my car got taken by the cops so I’ve been like ******* and riding around in the 06 rav 4 (family backup SUV) for 1.5 years. Feels good not having monlthy note but I am itching to get another Subaru this spring.
Whoa this story sounds nuts. I guess we know who the real cartel is...

Eh not that bad, was in jail for like 20 hours. My guy gives me free product for every address I give him to mail stuff from Cali. Cops found less than a gram of flower at my house but since I wouldnt cooperate they lied and said I had a qp in my house on top of the packages. **** the police and don’t ever let them scare you into talking. It’s much better to go to jail for a few hours then lawyer up rather than to cooperate, snitch and/or become a confidential informant. I just hate how much the cops can just lie and add to your charges just because they think you’re being a **** for not cooperating. Hours after being cuffed to a cold concrete block they came in and said the flower was laced fentanyl, this was another way to scare me into talking. Finally they gave up and took me to jail. They’re such bitches. They only do this because they go in your house, steal whatever cash etc and don’t report it on the affidavit. **** em, I hope MJ becomes legalizes federally, they lose their jobs, become drunks and commit suicide. Who knows how many families they’ve ruined solely to enrich themselves using petty things like cannabis as a guise. I have no remorse for them.

those CP combat boots? haven't worn mine because they're so uncomfortable.

yep — they were slightly harsh initially but after a few wears broke in nicely. had them a couple years now and they feel great.

I think the length of the game shorts is probably going to be an issue for anyone who isn't too tall, but I personally think the design of the game shorts is superior.

I'm 6'1 and heres an old pic for reference on length View attachment 1537812

Im with you on this. While I do wish they were a bit shorter, the details/lining/trim on the Game Shorts make them worth the scratch, whereas the Practice Shorts don't feel lux or special enough to warrant the price tag in my opinion. I got a pair on sale (orange duck) for laying over tights for cold-weather hikes, but other than that stick with the game shorts (2x tie-dyes, 2x animal prints, and those wild Mexican drug rug joints).

You genuinely think 17% cashmere and sewing differences lead to a 3x bump?

At any rate, I’m sure JE is thrilled to have found a customer that buys nearly everything he puts out, no matter how ugly or overpriced.

Its on the verge of federal legalization. I think it happens with the Biden admin. From a federal standpoint, it’s a nightmare for banking and regulating. A lot of reporting that’s really unnecessary. Federal legalization however will not mean every state has to make it legal. It just won’t be a federal crime anymore and makes legal sale money clean.
