I’m in love with these Black Fireside shorts, they’re super comfortable, fit is on point and the quality, materials, and details are insane. Here’s a closeup pic but it doesn’t do it justice. These are also my first pair of JE shorts, wouldn’t pay full price for any of the shorts but they’re awesome and my favorite in my closet.

How’s the sizing for the red and black plaid polar fleece? Reference: 5’10-5’11’’ 160-165 lbs

Plan on wearing it with a t shirt alone, and sometimes with a hoodie

Surplus Henley delivered 30 seconds before I left the house. Wasn’t able to take fit pics but managed to get to hold it and try it on but I’m extremely happy with the purchase. The fit is great but I’ll need to hem the length a bit. The stitching details are insane as well.

I’m really contemplating doubling up on this piece to be honest.

Henleys make me feel like Arthur Morgan so I love em.

Also thought *******, and decided to keep cast 2 onyx, mainly because it’s such a ***** to find a skinny pair of black faded denim made from Japanese denim in Japan/Italy and didn’t wanna drop like $200+ on carbons.

I’ll take the risk of the denim stretching ridiculously mainly because despite all the talk about how so many JE pieces stretch out (like the sweatpants) I’ve never had my pieces stretch out lol

I did a comparison of my only hemmed pair (Onyx to 29.5”) and one of my non hemmed (Washed Graphite 33.5"), both JE Cast 2’s and both with Chelsea Boots

I’m most likely going to hem it to a 31” inseam as that’s imo for me, the sweet spot for low and hi tops. I will definitely go in wearing these boots.

Let me know your thoughts

Are these cast 2 onyx? If so why do they look so grey in 2nd and 3rd pic

I haven’t had too many issues with stretching either besides the seat on escos but the onyx are terrible with stretching. I hardly wear mine anymore because of it

I got them dirt cheap and honestly if they last me a couple months, *******.

If it does stretch out ridiculously, you think tailoring it would bring back a good fit? Or would it just stretch again?

Heard that. And honestly not sure, I haven’t tailored any of my JE denim. Some of the other members may be able to chime in on that though

Contrary to popular opinion, Onyx is one of my favorite pairs of JE denim due to the stretch. If you work legs regularly, you'll be happy for the extra bit of room. I have already come to terms with the fact that JE denim looks like leggings on me, still gonna rock it regardless. :thumbs-up:
