The boucle sweaters look awesome in their new lookbook
Hooded Clash is the same as the Rue, Boucle Sweats are a wool blend, Cropped Tee is close to Mercer pricing but has thicker custom fabric. Seems all justified to me, except the padded Overshirt (maybe for a cool $400).
^^wasn't talking about the sweatshirt or tee; was expecting the sweats to be <$280 and padded overshirt to be <$330, so it was a shocker to see
And speaking of things that are overpriced--we've seen JE's site drop the prices of a ton of items that weren't selling due to them overpriced (I remember the olive M-65 jacket being $795, but later on being dropped $2-300, and the reverse french terry is now only $288, used to be $100 more, etc, etc), so I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen with some of the latest releases.
I was looking forward to copping the Boucle sweats but damn LOL
^^Ha, same here, oh well when something is priced out of range, money saved. The only thing I copped from this drop was the cropped tee. Hooded clash is tight, but I liked how it looked better in the lookbook with the drawstrings.
Is there any store in Europe that sell JE? Or any website?
I live in Belgium
Fit vid on your youtube ?
Let us know when you spend your rent/mortgage on one padded shirt and one pair of sweatpants. Looking forward to the fit pics
I wish my mortgage was only as much as 1 padded shirt and 1 pair of sweatpants.
Not getting padded shirt, but the black Boucle sweats are a definite yes. Heads up, 25% off Spring app until the 22nd (one item only) if you sign up for their newest giveaway. Hopefully JE will toss them up there.
Expecting a new, more detailed Overshirt to be less than the other shirts that are already available? Yeah that'd be great, but damn I wouldn't expect JE to lower his prices like that. They're only going to go up, unfortunately.
Whenever someone says this I look all over the app and can't find a word about the promotion
Definitely thicker than the previous Bomber Jacket. This could work as a winter coat for me here in Atlanta.
Check your email if you already have a Spring account, they sent me a link to it.
I get what you're saying, I shouldn't have expected a more detailed overshirt to be less than the other shirts available; but my point is, I think we can all agree the prices are a little too inflated.
And he has in fact lowered prices on several items in the past that were kinda ridiculously priced
--Royal Blue Teddy $545 to $460
--Herringbone M-65 $795 to $595
--Reverse Terry $388 to $288
There's probably been more
I wouldn't be surprised seeing the Wool Bomber, Boucle Sweats and Padded Overshirt going down either
