With all that’s going on, I really can’t see myself wearing denim the rest of the year... I mean, even with restaurants/places opening, I’d rather stick to takeout/online ordering. The ambiance is gonna suck, and the safety procedures are going to ruin the whole experience of doing anything. It’s gonna be Sweats and takeout all year when I want to eat out.
I feel you but, good time to buy if still working, a lot of je pieces to me are pretty timeless

I hate to use the term “dead” because it really depends what you like but does anyone still wear distressed denim? (Knee slits) etc?

I used to be against it entirely around 5 or more years ago but you start to get bored of raw and pre-faded denim after you build up a collection. It might’ve been Dillons that kinda opened me up to the idea of heavy distressing.
Then I started looking at hedi era d02’s and realized that it may or may not be timeless but at least a look that will always work if it’s put together correctly. There’s certainly a reason why a lot of SLP pieces have remained in their mainline collection and kept the silhouette the same.
Can’t say the same with other trends/brands.

Man, after wearing the JE raw indigo for a few days I must say they’re 100x more comfortable than my A.P.C. petit new standards (100% cotton). Obviously that’s to be expected with the stretch in the JEs; we’ll see how the fades compare

Shoutout to @nick227 for the great deal on them
