Just wanted to express my extreme frustration with how the situation has been handled regarding a package that was stolen off my doorstep that I ordered from John Elliott.
Filed a claim with UPS and was told that the shipper now takes over after that. Got in contact with JE over a month ago and have been on a back and forth with no help and poor customer service. For a premium company like this that seems to pride themselves on customer service it has been non existent.

Also had a package stolen but straight from the UPS place. Didn't even go out for delivery. Shipper steal hasn't called back
Luckily just 1 mercer tee. Still tho :-/
JE+ can't do anything when a package get stolen except file a lost/stolen claim like you. You just have to wait and let UPS do it's investigation.

As someone who has sold a good number of items on eBay, I know what JE goes through when it comes to situations such as lost packages. I once scheduled a USPS pickup for a number of packages I wanted to send out for shipping. One of the packages unfortunately got lost. There was no updated tracking update after I sent it out for shipping, not even one that indicates USPS has it in possession. My buyer complained to me after a while of not receiving a package. I explained to her that the package may have been lost by USPS. She told me she didn't believe me because there was no tracking info indicating USPS picked it up. I told her that this may be due to how the USPS employee who picked it up failed to scan it properly or lost it prior to being able to scan it. She still didn't believe me, so I told her to speak to USPS about it. She responded back to me to say she did that and that USPS told her the package was never with USPS according to the lack of tracking info.
Feeling bad for her, I offered her a refund and took the loss for shipping cost even though it wasn't my fault the package was lost. Despite all that, she still gave me a negative review in which she blamed everything on me, which truly upset me and angered me.
That's why I definitely want everyone out there to cut companies like JE + Co some slack when it comes to such issues. These issues should be brought to the shipping company, not the company that sent the package out. Even then, these things are bound to happen sometimes, especially with the numerous packages these shipping companies have to go through, so customers should have a more considerate and understanding approach when dealing with the shipping company. Sometimes it's not even the shipping company's fault, as there are some ill-mannered people in this world who would steal at the expense of others.
Or maybe, just like, insure your packages and stuff.
Lol Any legitimate business has insurance with the shipping companies they use.
