But in other news one of the workers was wearing a black Masa thumper. Seeing it in person just sold it for me, such a nice wash.

Damn, footwear for $60 is a steal. How was stock for size 11's?

    - if anyone can cop a sz 11 in the black high, I'll pay.

Diamond Jacquard switch x comix ss classic curve x obsidian

Sorry about the crap lighting and pics, but I don’t think I saw any pics of this yet.

    Review

    Pattern:
The pattern reminds me of something my dad would wear in the 80s, I think my dad is cool so I’m down with it. It’s unique, but I think you really need to tone down the outfit and let it stand out otherwise you’ll look insane. I was hoping that I’d love the pattern more than I do, but I don’t really have much in the way of patterns in my closet.

    Material:
The material is thick enough, not sure I’d want it any thicker, it’d be unbearable layered under a coat or rider. I guessing the diamond pattern is thicker than the plaid. I’m assuming the plaid is a simple flannel material, whereas this is a weaved material. Its definitely thicker than any other JE shirt I own. It’s also scratchy, but I have a feeling this will get better with wear considering it’s made of wool. It also smells really bad straight out the box.

    Design:
Honestly I’d be fine if it didn’t have the inner clasp system, I don’t see myself tightening it and wearing it like that. The shirt is cropped for an overshirt, I do wish it was a little longer. Otherwise, The fit is spot on, I’m a small in JE dress shirts and it fits well. The collar is also a great size, ive had issues with JE collars in the past. They have a tendency to look strange unbuttoned, this one is the perfect length/width and shape.

    Overall/TL;DR:
It’s nice, the pattern is interesting though I’m not in love. The clasp/switch system is a gimmick. Not sure if I’ll keep it, I’m 50:50 right now. I’ll have to work on trying to incorporate it into some fits before I decide.

Looks really solid. I’m 50/50 on keeping my bone plaid as well. I really like the fit and overall design but do think it’s over-priced but I also know I’d get a lot of wear out if it so tough decision for me. Good review btw
