@JR918 jealous of your pair
Mine have the slightest fade but it’s hard to see in pics. They’re not much different than yours tbh.
Anything worth mentioning?
Obsidians on the left, mr p on the right
Sizing down on DH a lot (or denim in general) is pretty overrated. If there's not a lot of pressure on the material, it won't stretch that much. If you need to size down 3 to have the thigh area fit properly for you, might be better to find a different brand/cut. Tapering from the knee down is much more feasible.
They still reissue some of the older Dior washes, although I haven't tracked the variance from version to version (ie Jake, Under My Car, Mulholland Drive, Waxing Moon, etc).
@nsubrmnn thanks for that pic. How does the denim weight compare? I was surprised how light/stretchy the Carbons were intially.
You may have got lucky. The hole on my right knee is not reinforced either.
The obsidians are a true (black as f*ck black) black, the mr p washed is a washed black or a “carbon” (think graphite like a pencil, it’s dark but not black) with a slight fade down the thighs. The crease on the thighs of the mr p are from me wearing them just prior to the shot, obsidian has “baked in” creases. The mr p is a light weight stretch denim; the obsidian feels more substantial and don’t feel as stretchy due to their raw nature. I haven’t worn them because I got onyx the same day, but I will this weekend and give you a review
