Just got the Plumas in today. Initial thoughts are they are a lot lighter color than I was expecting, and there were several streaks of dark "dirty" color to them that I wasn't too keen on myself. Also, the seam right next to the pocket on the leg didn't get part of the wash so its a blue streak on each side.

Personally, I already own the Coasts and the Springs, so I don't see a need for this pair as well. That being said, does anyone want a pair of Plumas in size 32 tried on once for retail + ship? Otherwise, these will have to go back to JE.

Thanks for the pics of the Plumas. They are definitely lighter than i expected. They look very similiar to the springs wish i already own. I probably will skip these and cop the skittles instead.

Wow wash looks good. did you get the same size in your coast and springs as you did these? And do they fit the same? I went up one size on my nerlot vs my Zincs because I bought a. Pair of skittles and they had a tighter fit

If you are willing to spend, the current season slp dirty blue are a great alternative. Wash is on par

they fit exact same as springs so i went 32 to match my springs. if you don't have springs they may be good for you, however i prefer the springs overall. the dirt colored streaks on the Plumas reminds me a bit of the hanoi but less crazy. i personally would have wanted it to be a cleaner denim without streaks of dirt, and instead have been an overall darker shade of dirt throughout

The SLP Dirty Old Blue are probably my favorite denim right now. Very versatile and an everyday pair that has an unrivaled fit. I also find them to have a more accommodating stretch than my JE denim (comparing the Springs and SLP Dirty Old Blue).

thats an interesting description and comparison. do you happen to have the grey skittles and the springs and can compare? i always thought the grey skittles and springs looked so similar in pictures from a distance. i realize when you get close you can see the color changes in the skittles

Tbh I find this with everything on their site, nothing I've bought has ever looked as good IRL, colour/tone wise
