Jodphur Boot Help

I'm in the maket and simply can't find something that is both (1) in stock and (2) well-made.

I am trying to keep this purchase under $800, if possible. Everyone appears to be out of the Crocket & Jones boot. Anybody have any suggestions of where I can find something decent without waiting months for it to be made? I am an 8.5 D U.S.

They aren't bad, but the mark-up is rough and I don't love the toe.

I don't know anyone who stocks that AS Exclusive boot. So it must be ordered.

It is a FINE choice however. If you can find it in stock or don't mind waiting.

I like that boot a lot. Sadly, I can't find a stocklist. Leffot in NYC can get me one, but there is a wait.

Those are great, actually. I prefer them to the Paul Stuart ones. Only concern is I don't know my Carmina sizing (I am sure the search function will help with that).

As a general rule you should be a 7.5 or 8 in UK sized shoes. Which is how Carminas are marked. The last that they are on 'Forest' is a general shaped last that should be a fairly normal fit.

However, the nuances of widths/fits is a tough call in general and you really won't know until you try - that's the basic ***** of buying shoes online.

Epaulet in NYC stocks Carminas - but no jodhpurs. By the way - they would recommend a 7.5 for you based on their general advice to size down one full size between US and Carmina sizing.

Size might still be problematic, but you could get the neutral color & have dyed to suit.
