Job Interview Question regarding hand shake

Normal handshake and look in the interviewer's eyes (not a stare, but rather I'm glad to be here type of look).

You need the personality, confidence and conviction in your voice to match your handshake.


If you don't got it, grab your nuts while you shake hands. Usually works for me.

I love crusher handshakes because no one expects such a thin person to reciprocate. After years turning wrenches and building chassis and cutting sheetmetal with hand shears I have no issue.

Go in for the fist bump .. then when you notice they are going for the handshake, stand there for a second awkwardly, then when they switch to the fist bump you switch to the handshake.

I interviewed with a guy last summer who had a hook for a right hand. When I stuck out my right hand for a handshake, it was awkward. That was the only job I've ever interviewed for and did not get.
