It's definitely (mecanized) norwegian, something JM Weston rarely makes. Veldt wouldn't have the upper row of stitches.Im not sure, I bought them second hand. However, I don't think it's Norwegian but
veldtschoen construction.
Actually kind of bummed about this as they're not my size, otherwise I absolutely would have jumped on this offerMight be of interest to someone here. Selling a pair of 180 lizard loafers for a friend.
Fair used condition, lots of life left and reasonably priced I'd say
Drop! JM WESTON LIZARD 180
Selling a pair of JM Weston 180 loafer in black lizard (currently priced new at $2000 on Weston website and unavailable for online orders). Asking $265 shipped CONUS/EU SIZE Size 9.5 B (insole length= 28.5cm / outsole length= 29.5cm /...www.styleforum.net
J.M. Weston needs to be revived from the company not from this thread. They need a new artistic director.Let's start to revive this thread! First we should understand the leather that JM Weston uses for their products:

It is pretty amazing that JM Weston has its own tannery!! True savoir-faire.

Taste is largely subjective. That being said, how do you like your pair of Piccadillys?Don't lash out because of your bad taste in loafers. Simply providing a link for more Google images... you might have complained that it's not a direct comparison because the Weston's pictured above were black not brown
They've had this for a while, well at least the online shopping, but they limit it to a few countries. In fact, correct me if I'm wrong, but they have now blocked their website in some countries, countries they used to do business in.J.M. Weston now offers online shopping on their own website, with a size guide for each model where you put in your measurements!
The countries they ship to aren't that many yet, but it'll probably expand later on. Sweden is unfortunately not on the list either currently.
Quite possible. Although online shopping was never accessible for me through Weston's website in Sweden. I always found it a bit strange that they would list sizes for shoes, and with some marked as "find in boutique", but didn't offer online shopping (at least not openly). I wasn't aware at all actually, except that mail order was possible. They've had this for a while, well at least the online shopping, but they limit it to a few countries. I would only go vintage from them these days. Their art director these days is terrible, as you can see by quickly browsing their shoes online.Quite possible. I'm off to Paris in ~3 months or so, thus making online shopping a bit non-essential for me right now Going to be interesting to see what they have in their Weston Vintage stock too.
Their classics are the only really good ones, though. But they are great, and I think you'll have a difficult time running out of good optionsI would only go vintage from them these days. Their art director these days is terrible, as you can see by quickly browsing their shoes online.
If you mean running out of good options from JM Weston, I've done that. Haha. Granted most of the shoes I own from them are from when Michel Perry was art director, but yeah, basically bought all I was interested in from them, which amounted to 15 pairs of shoes. But happy to depart from them since their customer service and overall company attitude is one of arrogance and complete disrespect for long term customers. Once they close stores in your country, they act as if you don't exist. Literally, I've emailed them countless times and have heard no response from them. So, enjoy!Their classics are the only really good ones, though. But they are great, and I think you'll have a difficult time running out of good options
