Thought this might of interest:

JM Weston's latest limited-edition footwear, the Code 222, is so-called because it goes through 222 steps of production in the very capable mains of the Gallic shoemaker's Limoges-based craftsmen. The futuristic-sounding Code 222 is a handmade hybrid of two traditional styles, the Oxford and the Derby, and each pair is individually numbered on a leather window in the lining, while your initials are discreetly inscribed under the tongue to put a personalised spring in your step.

To get these, you'll have to go to the London flagship store, where they'll set you back £1,150.

That's an outrageous price. I don't know how much I like the hybrid lacing or the pointy toe. I'm sure the leather is supreme, though.
