I'm really at a loss why when I simply want a pair of Philip ii on a different last it's considered bespoke not mto?

i think it is because they only want to make certain shoes on certain last no more no less, or that certain shoes are on designed to be on certain last

It's this. They do not have the pattern for your shoe on your last; they would have to cut it specifically for you, potentially in rough leather first.

alliswell,

i think you got me wrong.
i just need philip ii on last 8000 instead of 7000.
and seriously do i really need to dig out 7000-8000 usd to get them?? although i know they will make a bespoke last based on my feet.

manton, special orders meaning... mto?

i've already got city ii on 7000, i just dont want another one with the same last

Isn't the John Lobb Avon similar to the Philip II and on the 8000 last? Most likely a discontinued model but less expensive than bespoke.
