Hi Everyone: This is my first posting. The consensus on this forum appears that WW Chan is the preferred tailor of choice in terms of quality finish over Ah Man Hing Cheong. I have inquired and learned that Chan's suits start at @$1,200 USD. I would like to inquire about Jimmy Chen at the Peninsula Hotel whose suits start at $800. Jimmy Chen said they are on the same quality as A. Man and Chan. I am in search of quality and excellence but dont feel compelled to pay a premium for brand recognition. I am planning to take a trip to Hong Kong in July 2010 specifically to have 5 suits and 12 shirts made. I am only interested in the top tier tailors that respect the tradition as close to Saville Row as possible. Thank you. P.S. Bam is what I would hope my sartorial style will be in a bespoke suit.
