Anyone a Uniqlo Small? I usually buy XS but I've gained some welcomed weight and some of my shirts are pulling at the chest. Wondering how much a drop is from Small to X Small

Does the suit (separates) fall under outerwear/pants? If so, $200 for that grey suit is not bad at all. [IMG]

    they do in Japan.

i don't think this will be a limited-edition thing like H&M does with CdG, V&R, et. al. There will be lines on the first day, but it won't sell out.

my take is that this will become Uniqlo's answer to "Banana Republic" level casual. they already have a super casual "Old Navy" level line in Japan.

I hope "outerwear" includes sportcoats. That would be the nicest $200 suit ever.

Is there any reason to assume that Uniqlo won't do mail order? Don't they do it now?

I doubt they are even going to be answering the phone that day, and if they do, they probably won't be doing mail orders right away. Hopefully that changes after the first week or so. I want some items, but I really don't feel like driving two hours and waiting in line to get $50 trousers.

Photos here if you haven't seen.

Now if we could just get Helmut for Uniqlo, with +H, I'd be all set. [IMG]

Anyway, I'll look forward to checking the stuff out in person next time I go to Japan. I always hit up the store on the west coast, away from Tokyo, because they get the collabo stuff but often it never sells out. So, I was able to find some of the Plokhov stuff and the Tim hamilton stuff cheaply.

I like the outerwear/coats... but my only fear is that at those prices the materials will be scratchy and gross. Like their pleather bags and jackets; great cut, nice design... but the materials made my skin crawl. [IMG]
