What are members' opinions on Jhane Barnes suits/jackets these days?

I have searched the forum but, while there are a lot of mentions in the For Sale section, few threads discussing the product, at least recently. There seems to have been some controversy about the company moving its manufacturing to China, but a thread on that topic rapidly degenerated into a political discussion.

I'm more interested to know what folks think of the product - style, fit, quality etc.

Here is my take. The fabric patterns and the cuts of the stuff she has put out is not to my taste. the made in china stuff she is doing seems very similar to the crittendon made in china that some people have lauded. Her stuff has a lot of visible pickstitching, and the stuff is more designer than classic menswear. Construction wise, I would put the quality with the mid tier Italian guys, Canali and Corneliani etc. jackets are full canvass, come with basted sleeves, the pants are nicely done with split rear curtained waistband etc. Most of the stuff I have seen is just ugly and while the construction is there for the pricepoint, the styling is not.
