Jetted Ticket Pocket

I just bought a suit on discount that I really like. It's a solid charcoal slightly heather gray. Unfortunately it has a ticket pocket, which I'm not too fond of, as this was going to be THE all-purpose suit. Normally I would return it, but it's been nearly impossible to find good suits in a small size on a reasonable discount. I was thinking of converting the ticket pocket into a jetted pocket to reduce the noticeability of said pocket. Thoughts?

By converting, do you mean that the flap of the ticket pocket will be removed ? If so, how will it look different from just tucking in ?

Yes, essentially it will look the same. The focus of my question is more on whether converting to jetted ticket pocket would be enough to, in essence, hide the ticket pocket and enable me to use the suit in all situations. (Edited OP to clear up confusion)

Proof that ticket pockets are a pointless anachronism that IMO don't really add to the suit and will possibly date it once the current trend cycles away. I don't like the asymmetry.

The only way to get true symmetry would be central zips on suit jackets. There is asymmetry for breast pockets, button holes and overlap. I don't like the asymmetry down below. Surely you realised that? Are you two really that thick or just looking for a bite?
