At this forum I learned about the various English shirtmakers. I learned a lot about their dress shirts. I would like to start this thread about experiences with casual shirts of these shirtmakers. Personally, I am not looking for the best of best of casual shirts, just nice affordable casual shirts that fit well and can be matched with jeans. Therefore i really like some of the deals like 4 casual shirts for 100 pounds
. Personally I do not like the look of high quality dress shirts with jeans.
I saw that Charles Thyrwitt, TM Lewin and Hawes and Curtis have some nice offerings. At least it looks good on the pictures
.
I took a shot and ordered 4 shirts from C&T, semi-fitted. The table with the dimensions was quite useful, so that the fit is at least good enough to wear.
To me it looks like H&C really makes very fitted causal shirts as well, with chest - waist differences of 10 cm. I think I soon might try some of their casual shirts.
What are your experiences with these shirtsmakers or others with respect to their casual segment?
