He really turned into a junkie though. really sad to see. Sometimes I wonder how I sould be right now had I been famous with a ton of money and endless poon. Pretty sure I wouldnt live as long as he held out.

I read recently he was in dire straits, so this isn't surprising. Still sad, though.

He'd been in pretty bad shape for a long time. I remember him being on that Dr. Drew show with all the messed up famous people, and Conaway looked terrible. IIRC he couldn't even walk.

Yeah, he looked to be in pretty bad shape the past several years of his life. The really sad thing is that I believe he only started to abuse pain killers after he got mugged and beat up pretty bad several years ago. He was on Taxi as well, correct?

Season 4, Episode 12: Bobby Doesn't Live Here Anymore

Episode Summary

Bobby, who has moved to Hollywood, comes back to the garage for a visit and announces that he's filmed a pilot for a new prime-time soap opera. During his visit, he learns that the pilot has been picked up as a series and Bobby throws a party at the Plaza Hotel to celebrate. He soon learns that although the series is a go, they no longer want Bobby to appear in it. Bobby is upset and entertains the idea of moving back to New York, until Alex convinces him to follow his dream in Hollywood.
