That's going to be a very attractive Valway.
I really hope 6 people can gather together for the common cause of making it happen. My fall/winter wardrobe depends on it!
@Notch if someone wanted to put together a pair of F-last MTO Vass wingtips in oxblood (because @RogerP keeps talking about how awesome the color is) would you use Model 1075 or Model 5075? For the life of me I cannot tell the difference.
Does your first post mean you are in for the Valways? If so, that would be 3 + 1 and then we are getting close !
With regards to your second question: there is no difference betweeen the 1075 and 5075, except that they are on different lasts (U vs F). The pattern is exactly the same.
Actually, I'm one of the ones who already confirmed to you via email. So we're still at 2 + 1 I think.
Ah, that make sense!
Can you tell us more about what specifically Anilveau calf is?
The leather is from a French tannery, one of the two tanneries that are regarded among the best in France (granted, there are other tanneries, but these are the biggest). It comes from the counterpart of where Vass sources their own leather. It's a full grain, aniline finish calf. It's used by a lot of great makers, but there are that many great leathers that every maker needs to make a choice somewhere.
The biggest draw factor for us, aside from the quality, were the many colors available.
We are updating the website a little bit and took a few pictures today. We wanted to share this one.
There is a lot of talk about Vass, obviously, but the other products are in fact just as good. We are finishing some blog posts about materials and construction, that should come up this weekend and next week.

Welcome to the forum!
We are doing some product photography of our gloves. This is a closeup shot of the quirks that make our gloves very unique. They are small diamond shaped pieces of leather that go inbetween the fourchettes, and give the gloves more flexibility.
