    Cool - welcome aboard TopCat..

It will be interesting to get your perspective on some of these issues.

I wish I could wear jeans to work.

Jeans are a staple for me. They are what I wear to work alot. Granted, I teach welding at a community college. I find that for my casual time, the first choice is definetly jeans.

I find that the older I get the less I wear jeans. Never during the week; maybe every other weekend. I've also got "jeans" that are not blue which I wear more often than blue jeans, if those count.

Just about never wear them. In fact, I have but one pair: an old pair of navy dungarees that I occasionally wear around the house when I'm in "extreme casual mode".

I have a pair of jeans but rarely wear them. I live in an Officers' Mess and whilst the dress rules are fairly relaxed and jeans may be worn in public rooms such as the ante-room and bar, I still think they're mostly unsuitable.

I don't even own a pair and I don't think I have since the early 80s, and that was only when I was a small child.

If I am not working, I am more than likely wearing jeans.

I've never worn a pair in my life. But I just bought a pair of cowboy boots on eBay (Why? Because they were there.), and I guess I'll have to get a pair of Levis to go with them.

So, you see, growth is possible. . . .

I very rarely do either, it being a habit I got out of when I spent 2 years in the tropics.

Like ViroBono, I then also lived in a military mess, so found it easier not to bother with them at all, despite certain rules allowing them in the "Scruff's Bar" at certain times.
