Jeans that match slip ons

What style of jeans do you prefer to wear with slip on's for casual days?

In particular I'm referring to these jack purcell slip ons in white.

I was leaning towards slim, non boot cut, navy jeans(similar to the blue on the shoe) with an aggressive washed fade.

raw slim straight leg or even slightly tapered. no wash man... you can make them look like that yourself by wearing them.

IMO, I think that a true straight cut jean (i.e. APC Rescue) looks better with slip ons. I think if you wear them with a slim jean it makes your feet look giant and clownish.

Have to watch the leg opening, though; baggier straight legs/most bootcuts will swallow slipons or make them look like house shoes. My slip-ons look real dumb with my APC anglaise--might as well be wearing just socks.

I think zappos has those slip-on purcells. Urban Outfitters had some weird-ass looking slip-on purcells awhile back--odd textures and a different, crescent toe cap. I don't particularly care for them.

I've been thinking of getting the same slip-ons but have been far too tempted to order some custom Purcell's off Converse's site.

Or maybe I'll do both.

That's the problem I've been having. Too baggy and it makes these look like your jeans are eating your shoes up, and also the back of the shoe doesnt really help in saving your jeans from being dragged on the floor.

any particular jeans/brand suggestions?

Depends on your shoe size as well. I (10.5/11) don't have a problem with most shoes being swallowed by any jeans I would wear. Then again, my widest are HL bootcuts which aren't very wide. I don't rock the flarez lol.
