Hello, i would like to thank anyone for the help i receive before hand.
For 1 year now i've been looking for a good pair of jeans
I have a problem i like the skinny jean/straight leg style right now
and my calves and lower leg are perfect for it, but i have larger thighs
so i always end up buying pants that are big all around which is not what i want.
Im just looking for pants with a slim lower leg but good comfortable thigh room.
I know they exist because ive seen guys my size wearing skinnys before even though they have a more muscular thigh
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! any stores or sites would be greatly appreciated

If you have big thighs jeans that are considered baggy thighed can end up skin tight.

You don't say how big you are. What size you wear. What you've tried.

Do you fill out 501s? Or are you bigger? Or are they too baggy in the thighs?

Start by going into a shop and trying on a pair of 501 or 505s if you don't like button flies.

The 559 are huge everyplace? Or just the legs?

Is it really surprising that relaxed straight jeans would fit "huge?"

Your best bet is to measure your thighs or pants that you find fit you well. It's been my experience that people exaggerate their thigh size, either because of what they've worn in the past or because of their own self-image. Unless you're a power lifter, you're probably not having the kind of problems you think you're having.

Yeah thats why i dont know what tigher kind to buy i dont want the really elasticy ones from zara, and the H&M ones generally dont fit, these are the 2 places ive tried. I just measure my thighs by using a string and then measuring the string, i know this is not completely accurate but it is 23 inches in diameter

Try Nicola's suggestion of checking out the 501 and working your way down towards slimmer jeans like the 505 or down to the 514. 23" doesn't seem big at all for a 34 waist.

What you're describing in your post is a carrot fit: relaxed/regular in the top block but slim/skinny in the calves. While it can work on some people, I see it more of wanting to wear a certain style than trying to fit a body type. Nudie's Big Bengt is a good example of this fit (which they claim comes off the 1950s aesthetic.)

You might not be realizing that there's a whole middle ground between skinny and relaxed fit jeans.

23 thighs with a 34 waist should put you fairly easily in a 501. My thighs are a little bit bigger and my waist is a lot smaller and I wear 501s with a little bit of pulling along the outseam. 559s are huge; back when I was in "big thighs camp" I was wearing 550s and they had plenty of room.

    ^This.

OP, what are you even talking about, 34" waist with 23" thighs isn't even that big/a hassle to find jeans for.

I have a 33.5" waist and 23" thighs at the moment. Usually, they are a bit larger but my training has taken a different turn in the last few months. I just ordered a pair of Naked and Famous deep indigo Weird Guys from Jay over at Blue Owl. I've tried many cuts and brands of raws but none have worked well for me and, like you, I have to size up in the waist to have them fit my thighs. Jay said this cut should work for my measurements listed above and they will be here tomorrow, so we'll see. Here's a link to the Weird Guys http://blueowl.us/scripts/psp/VB_Bridge3.dll?VBPROG=\bin\shop.prodt.detail&SKU=7995901 Jay has measurements listed for each size. For reference, I went with size 31.

The 501's will work but they will not taper much at all. I prefer a 19cm (7.5") hem like many people here. So if you're looking for a slim jean with a nice taper, the Weird Guys may suit you well. If you want slim fitting denim, 501's will be a waste of your money be they Levi's or LVC.

Edit: I would definitely suggest emailing Jay over at Blue Owl and discussing your measurements as well as what you're looking for with him. He is a very helpful and knowledgeable guy, and great to do business with.

    I have a 33" waist and 26" thighs. I'm a power lifter. I wear Levi's 514's in size 33.

I, too, do some powerlifting (yeah Ripptoe!). 31" waist, 24" thighs. I used to do the Levi 559s like OP used to, and yes, they were still relaxed throughout the leg.

Recently got some Naked & Famous Weird Guys sized down two inches to 29". They are pretty tight, but I've been told they'll stretch out. Perhaps I should have only sized down 1", but they should fit your build. Also, the low rise on the WGs will help prevent hip flare so you don't look so feminine. I'd second looking more into Weird Guys. There's a whole thread on Naked and Famous denim. Last I looked at it, Weird Guys were more discussed in the beginning of the thread than the later parts.
