"don't worry, i've done the research but i still wanted to start an unnecessary thread..."

Seriously, my man, why couldn't this inquiry been placed within the comprehensive "big thighs, no prob" jawnz thread?

You didn't do your research, because apc rescue, while a great jean, is by no means a "big thigh" jean, a straight/relaxed option cut, but not big thigh. Unless your going up to 35 or 36 waist, in which case you will have a big thigh, but also a big waist, but if you have a big waist then just about any jean will have a corresponding big thigh.

You want a straight/relaxed option: I would give those many RRL low-rise boot on ebay a try for well below $200.

+1 this is true. God I hate to bump these threads, but yeah I've owned both and Rescues fit exactly the same as New Standards in the thighs. Look at any size chart.

i have big thighs and the n&f weird guys fit me ok. the waist is kind of loose on a size 31 but the thighs are comfortable enough. i always wear a belt anyway.

I have pretty big thighs (hockey and cycling), own APC Rescues and they are snug to say the least. There was a lengthy break-in process and I can still barely get my phone or my keys in the front pockets.
