Jeans/chinos (and maybe shirts and t-shirts) to pair with tan and burgundy brogues

    Hello there,

Up until now I was only wearing trainers, jeans and tshirts. Decided to make a bit of a change and evolve to maybe nicer shoes, shirts and some chinos along the jeans.

So I just ordered online on some kind of an impulse (helped by a very big discount), two pair of new shoes: a Loake Chester Tan and Grenson Archie Burgundy. I know a darker brown would have been probably a better idea but they did not have my size.

Now to the issue: can I get some advice on jeans/chinos color (especially, but I could use advice on shirts/socks too) for the above mentioned shoes? Only casual outfits. What I could find online was somewhat contradictory and confusing.

    Thank you in advance!

Blue denim. Olive, khaki, navy, etc. chinos.

In my opinion, the Grenson will be a lot easier to wear with denim. For shirts, just keep it simple...Oxford cloth button downs, checks, plaid, etc. Check out Epaulet for some good chino and shirting options.
