I don't think that it is OCD. Representing your brand properly is really important.
Obviously, someone thinks it does that well.

jean shop is one of whodini's chosen brands... tread carefully

I think jean shop is ok. the denim doesn't really stand out from the sea of japanese milled stuff at the price point, but the leather goods/rebranded customized stuff is very nice. I like that they are willing to use zipper flies on some jeans, but I am not huge on the orange selvage

thats fine with me, I still don't understand why some people are taking this too personally... Its just personal preference, not everyone has to like every single detail of a particular brand

I also dig the orange stitching. The buttons look plastic though. Can anyone confirm?

I've noticed that the button(s) have been a complaint from a number of owners. Personally, I would love to see them upgrade the hardware as well, especially for the price point.

    Belts look good.
Can't decide between the basic or embroidered.

Nordstrom had a bunch of the belts marked down to $60 recently. It was mentioned earlier in this thread, but the sizing on the belts is ridiculous. I'm a 32 and had to get the X-small.

this is a new one, arguing over the font a brand uses on its name. Just when you think SF can't surprise you anymore...

It's a NYC brand. Two words: 'Vanity sizing'... The difference betwen the tagged size and measured size on their jeans is +2 inches. Crazy I know, it but must put a lot of Mahhattan manorexics at ease ;-)

Just guessing here, of course. I actually do love their jeans.

Has anybody had their denim finished or just purchased in the raw state?
