This Saturday, starting at 6:00 PM Farinelli's will be hosting a small mini meetup for styleforum members to come in and try on some jeans and get an idea of what's out there and what fits them. Although this meeting is kind of "intended" to help people who really don't have much of a familiarity with denim, and are looking to get an idea what fits them best, EVERYONE (yes EVERYONE) is welcome!

We'll have drinks at the store and after an hour or so we'll go to some local place for snacks. If there's interest in going to a restaurant, please let me know some suggestions, and I can call up and make some reservations!

The meet-up will be at our Clarendon location, located at

2839 Clarendon Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201
703.647.9856

we're right by the Clarendon metro.

Let me know if you're planning or coming, or have any after-drinks recommendations!

you know how some libraries have 'book mobiles' that drive around and take books to shut-ins or people in rural areas far away from the library?

yeah

Mauro/Farinellis should be the first retailer to have a 'jeans mobile' that travels about (to Omaha most importantly) in a similar fashion and helps people experience and purchase el serge de nimes.

i wish i could just pop on over, it sound like a pleasurable experience is guaranteed for all.

This is a brilliant idea. "Farinelli's Denim Roadshow."

I'll ask my buddies if I can just borrow their van for a few months and have Mauro repaint it with the coat of arms while leaving the slogan the same. On the other side of the van, btw, is a sliding panel hiding three frozen margarita machines:

I actually thought of a denim fashion bus but thought in the end it would be cheesy.
I hope to have crate in by then!
